We love having Cassidy's school right by our house, it's SO convenient!!! AND it's a fun playground!

So...last week, Danielle asked me if I wanted to go see Mirah at the Urban Lounge...and of course, I said...YEEESSSSSSSSS!!! It was so much fun. We went to dinner and ate outside on a little outside patio and shared a fresh, yummy salad full of vegetables and shared an artichoke appetizer and a bottle of wine. Then we walked to the lounge.
Cassidy had a project at school where the teacher handed each of them an "occupation" on paper. They were to go home and do some research on that occupation, do a "Want Ad", do some kind of project, and talk about their new profession. Well, when Cassidy's teacher handed them all out, Cassidy was very unsatisfied!!! She rose her hand and told the teacher that she WOULD NOT be a Mailman! Her teacher kindly handed her another piece of paper, which had Cosmetologist written on it. Cassidy asked, "What's a Cosmetologist?" the teacher replied, "You will cut, color, and style peoples hair...and much more"! Cassidy smiled and said she could be a Cosmetologist :) Her teacher told me this just the other day :) 
I volunteered to go to the Zoo with Cassidy's 3rd grade class. I mean, who wouldn't want to hang out with these guys?!!!
I was given 5 kids to take care of...I think I got the best ones!!
So...the guys like to go on these trips they call "Sausage Fest" and it's only because girls aren't allowed. Me and my sister have been on one of these trips and we both swear that we Almost died! But the boys would tell you that we were totally fine the whole entire time. Nope. It was scary AND we almost died. Not once, but a lot of times! So...we just leave these trips for the boys now. I think I can be talked into going again, but as long as their are no keepers (water holes full of water that are really hard to get out of) and I don't ever want to wear a wetsuit. These guys are Amazing I tell ya!!! You can't be weak to make it through these canyons!!!

I'm telling you, those keepers are called "keepers" for a reason!Cassidy had her first soccer game on Saturday and they only had 1 practice because of all the rain!! I think they did a great job considering...her team is called the Fire Balls and they won 6 to 3!!! Cass is the smallest player...so little and cute :)
