JUICY STEAK

Cassidy ran in the front door after school and she was so excited to tell me about the Thanksgiving party and parade they were going to have at school.
(When you read the next part...read it out loud as fast as you can...this is what she sounded like)!

"Mom...Mom....Mom..., guess what! I get to choose between a pilgrim and indian for the parade at school...I think I want to be an indian...what do you think I should be? are you going to come and watch me...what do you think we are going to look like? When are we going to have this feast? What do you think we will eat? What healthy snack should I bring? Me and my friends voted at lunchtime and I let them vote between juicy creamy steak, nuttiness cheese, and goldfish crackers. And guess what we all voted for me to bring!???? Juicy Steak."

I just sat there and stared at my little Cassidy as she said all of this in one breathe...and then we both started laughing...

Peter Pan!

South Jordan Theatre...presents...the Neverland Animals in Peter Pan!!!!!! Emma and Cassidy!

Cass is on the bottom right...in her little kangaroo outfit...

Cass was so happy to be in another play this year! She was recently in the Peter Pan play that South Jordan Theatre produced last week. She was selected to be a Neverland Animal and chose to be the kangaroo. There couldn't have been a better character for her! She loved being part of this play and she has all of Peter Pan's and Tiger Lily's songs and actions memorized...it's so cute! We've enjoyed the plays so far and this last one was spectacular! Here's Cass with Peter Pan!Cass spent a lot of time practicing for this play. She loves acting and can't wait to try out for the next play this winter!
Cass with Tiger Lily (her favorite character!) Cassidy tells everyone that she's half indian...

Pumpkins, Black Cats, and Raggedy Ann...Oh My!

We have our annual pumpkin carving tradition at the Thomas's (Linda and Carl's house) and we always have a good time.

Cassidy had a hard time choosing what she wanted to be for Halloween this year. First she wanted to be a Beautician, then a Chef, then all kinds of animals. So we went to look at costumes and she could not put this Raggedy Ann costume down! She doesn't really even know who Raggedy Ann is, but she loved the costume and I think it looked pretty dang cute on her too!
THE school parade!
