A DAY ON OUR NEIGHBORHOOD LAKE

ISN'T IT FUN TO BE OUTSIDE WHEN IT'S HOT AND SUNNY? WE LIKE TO GO TO OUR NEIGHBORHOOD LAKE. WHAT? YOU DON'T HAVE A NEIGHBORHOOD LAKE? YOU SHOULD RETHINK MOVING TO DAYBREAK.
CASS AND IZZY ALWAYS HAVE A BLAST WHEN THEY GET TOGETHER. LOOK HOW BIG THEY ARE GETTING! THEY CARRIED THE BOAT BY THEMSELVES...
WE ALL TOOK OUR SHOES OFF ON THE DOCK AND HOPPED IN THE YELLOW RUBBERBOAT...THEN RELAXED....WHILE DAVE PADDLED US AROUND THE LAKE.WHY DID YOU TAKE A PICTURE OF A "NO SWIMMING" SIGN, YOU ASK...WE'LL...YOU SEE...CASSIDY WAS DIPPING HER ARMS AND LEGS IN THE LAKE BECAUSE IT WAS SO HOT! WE KEPT ON SAYING...CASS...BE CAREFUL...YOU AREN'T SUPPOSE TO GET IN THE WATER...AND SHE KEPT DIPPIN IN....WITH THIS LITTLE SMIRK ON HER FACE...

DAVE COULD NOT RESIST!!! POOR CASSIDY! THERE SHE GOES FOR THE DIVE OF HER LIFE! WE ALL LAUGHED FOR HOURS AFTER THAT...IT WAS SO FUNNY!

SHE THOUGHT IT WAS THE GREATEST THING EVER! SHE SAID THAT WAS SO FUNNY, DAD YOU ARE SO CRAZY! THIS SMILE NEVER LEFT HER FACE THE REST OF THE DAY.

That's so funny! Nice dad. I'm going to call Child Services. KIDDING! I already did. Ha ha.
If we did that to Corrine, she would probably cry and never forgive us for the rest of the day! Oh, and about having a neighborhood lake that you can't even swim in: We have RIVERS around here that you CAN swim in. Not to mention lakes that are too numerous to mention. Oh, and there's the ocean that's only a little over an hour away. So maybe you should rethink moving to Oregon! HA!

yeah- I teach singing lessons. I did it a little through Highschool, and then once we moved here to Idaho, the news spread, and I started again. I do it more for me, because I love it, so I only charge $5 a lesson (lessons are 30 minutes a week.) Apparently I've found out that I'm REALLY undercharging, so maybe an increase in price will be coming soon...hmmm.

I have 8 students, and I just do it from my home. Most of my students are ages 10-17. I do have one adult. It's fun though. Keeps me working on my own talents.

I LOVE Hope! How is she? Do you have an email or something for her? I'd love to keep in touch with her. Does she just teach out of her home then? $20 is a lot if she's just out of her house. It's probably about that anywhere for lessons in a studio or somewhere, though. How is Cassidy at singing? I bet she's great! Probably takes after her aunt!

No Tammy, I do not have a neighborhood lake. No, I do not have an annual ladybug release in my community center. No, I don't sit on my front porch sipping on homemade lemonade on a hot summer's night. No, I do not live in Daybreak and thank you for rubbing it in. (I'm sticking out my tongue at you right now) Hmph.
