MEMORIES

I saw this on my friend's blogs and it was fun, so just try it out!
As a comment on my blog, leave a memory that you and I have together. It doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
Next, repost these instructions on your blog and see what memories people have of you! It's actually pretty funny to see the responses!

While in Kuwaii (i totally guessed how to spell that) we went on a really cool helicopter ride. Dave and I were enjoying the views while Cass was saying "Hey Mom, can I have some more fruit snacks?" the WHOLE time! I don't think she looked out the window once...so frustrating!

Most of the time...If I could pick one place I'd rather be...it would be the beach...I love the sound of the ocean, walking barefoot in the sand, and the heat of the sun...oh and don't forget...a really good drink! I think Cass and Dave would both agree...In fact, I think I'll go and book a cruise. See ya later...Schponk

I miss that careless feeling of getting all sandy and dirty and not even thinking twice about it...I love that kids don't care about getting dirty...she was loving this photo shoot :)

THIS IS WHERE CASS GOT HER NICKNAME "MONKEY"...SHE COULD HANG ON THESE TREES FOR HOURS..AND SHE DID...

We went to Hawaii last year and went on a 10 day cruise to the different islands. I think that I am safe to say that cruising is our favorite type of vacation! I think we've been on one every year since we've been married. They are the best. Food, entertainment, and your room is all taken care of...then if you want to, you can do more fun stuff at each port. I love it!!

Wow!!! What a beautiful view! I wish that I had the energy to climb the highest peaks in the world...that's my wish.

Have you ever seen a billy goat in the wilderness up close? I was a little scared because it didn't seem scared of us...it was so big and muscular! I was trying to figure out what it was thinking...

Mt. Olympus

Last week we hiked Mt. Olympus! It's such a great feeling to sit on the peak of a mountain. Climb every mountain...climb every hill...

You should've seen her friends faces...Priceless.

In March, Cassidy had a Hawaiian Luau for her birthday party. We were planning the party and we had fun games and yummy food planned...everything was going great until she asked me if she can give each friend a TOMATO instead of a cupcake?! I had to explain to Cass that she was a very odd child and that not many other kids would like a tomato for a cupcake!!! (although I was proud that she is a healthy eater) So we compromised. I made cupcakes with pink frosting and sprinkles for the kids and I let her have her own big red juicy tomato for her birthday cake! She ate the whole thing and loved every bite of it!

"Dad, if we cut the earth in half...what will it look like?" Dirt.

So, I've decided to pick up mountainbiking for a new hobby. Dave is super good at it and I feel like a 3 year old learning to ride a bike again! We went to Park City and I was trying to be so so careful and cautious and I was doing a pretty dang good job at it. Dave was so annoyed (he is pretty much like whatever happens...happens) and he says "Tam, what you need is a really good fall"...I said "Thanks a lot &*%$$". I was so proud of myself because the whole day I never fell and we were just sitting on our bikes talking. Then...my foot got caught in the pedal and I fell and hit my buummm on a sharp rock. OUCH!!!

Me and Daniela, mi hermana, hiked to Dog Lake up Big Cottonwood canyon and it was so much fun! Spinderdinkle doodle...I love my sis! I don't know what the deal is but every time I go hiking, my knee starts to hurt pretty bad after about 7 miles...what's the deal? I need one of those old people walking sticks.

I'm kind of doing this blog thing backwards...hang in there with me and I'll get their, eventually. So Dave and I have been married for almost 10 years. I can't beleive it has been that long. Where has the time gone? I still feel like a little girl trying to find her way around in this world full of mazes. We have a beautiful daughter, Cassidy or Cass, Cassafrass, Sassafrass, Stink, Stinky poo, Monkey, Honey girl...she gets a new name every day. She is 7 years old going into 2nd grade in August! She is beautiful and smart. She's acting more grown up than I would like, but what do you do? Sometimes she will say something to me and I will stare at her in AWW...wondering where she learned what she just told me. Kids these days!! I think it would be fun to have another baby, but I just can't make up my mind...and I'm not getting any younger. dammit. Dave is going back to school at the U of U and is studying Engineering. He is brilliant. He's the smartest man in the world. I love him. I have been in Real Estate for the past 5 years and I love love love it! I work for a home builder (Liberty Homes) and I have been working in the Daybreak community in South Jordan for the past 4 years. I'm thinking of getting my brokers license...should be fun! I'm also taking a few classes every semester at the community college, keeps me busy! We are living in Daybreak (two houses away from the model home that I work at) and I love this community. It's kind of like the Truman Show. It's the best place to live! We have an 85 acre lake just 2 blocks away. We can go sail or canoe there any day, any time. We have two pools within 5 minutes walking distance, tons of parks, and miles of running and biking trails. I have the greatest neighbors and friends here. I absolutely love where I live, you should come check it out here, you will fall in love...

Here is the fam damly after the trek...I love hiking...I always feel so fulfilled, do you know what I mean?

Good Job Cass...you made it to the tippity top of the mountain...what a refreshing feeling it was!

Last week, we decided to hike to the peak of Mt. Grandeur (a peak on the wasatch front) and I'm proud to say that my little hiker girl hiked 7 miles!! It was beautiful...wild flowers everywhere.

Hola amigos...can you say WONTANGO? I love that word...just say it aloud...it makes you feel, well...alive. Cassidy got this new little tiny camera...smaller than a pack of gum (the little 5 stick packs) and she takes it around the house and makes you pose...she feels like the coolest chic on the block. Here's one of the pictures taken with her new designer camera that only takes fuzzy pictures like this one.
